Stila Smudge Pot Collection Review

stila.jpgThe Stila Smudge Pot Collection truly is one-of-a-kind, and it also is a limited edition as of right now. If you have not tried one of the smudge pots before, then you are in for a real treat.

The benefit to using this type of smudge pot is that it is an eyeshadow and eyeliner all in one. This offers you the opportunity to use the smudge pot as an eyeshadow shade, and you can also apply it with a contour brushed as an eyeliner. Using a contour brush to apply your eyeliner as opposed to an eye pencil or liquid eyeliner offers a much more natural look, and you may be surprised to find that it gives you even more control in your application.

These formulas are also resistant to smudging, which is exactly what you need for a longer wear. This collection will come with a mini eyeliner brush to apply the products, and you will get four different smudge pot product choices in Black, Kitten, Violet, and Starry Night. Just to clarify, Kitten is a new champagne color that is quite flattering, and Starry Night is a deep navy color. The other two colors are self-explanatory, but it is important to remember that all the products are water resistant for an all day long makeup application.

This Smudge Pot Collection costs $32 but is a $95 value, so right now it seems to be a steal of a deal in a limited edition makeup collection.

Love the smudge pots! Stila

Love the smudge pots! Stila just came out with a Smudge Stick Eye Liner too. It's my new fave, and are so soft they even work for lining the inner rims of eyes. They're waterproof and last pretty much all day long, which is almost impossible on me because my skin is oily. I love to pair the Lionfish Stila Smudge Stick with the Woodland Fairy Shadow by Mattify. Those two compliment eachother perfectly. My second fave combo is the Stila Liner in the deep Navy Blue (I can't remember the official name for it) paired with Mattify's Midnight Train Shadow. Makes for an incredible smoky eye look.
