• Start out with a concealer that matches your skin tone to apply with a brush to the under eye area and corner of the eye that meets the bridge of the nose. If you have very purple under eye circles, then use a yellow-based concealer. If you have red under eye circles, then use a green concealer.

• Apply a mineral makeup foundation to a large fluffy brush, and apply it in a sweeping motion to the skin. Start out lightly with one coat, and then add more of this foundation as needed.

• Use a blush brush to apply a deeper raspberry blush color to the apples of the cheeks in a sweeping motion. Blend this blush application well.

• For darker skin tones, it is necessary to use darker eye makeup colors. Start out with a lavender shade across the eyelid, and then apply a deeper plum shade to the crease of the eye. Blend these shades together with a lighter pink or pearl eyeshadow up into the brow bone.

• Apply a champagne eyeliner or highlighter to the lower lash line, and use a black or charcoal eyeliner for the upper lash line.

• Apply several coats of black mascara, and use false eyelashes to thicken sparse lashes or for a special event.

• Finished with a nude or apricot lip color to complement the skin tone. Make sure to apply a lip liner in the same color, and top with a clear gloss.
